wars are about maps … info , statistics , troop movements and more … and this ambitious project aims to map the whole battle of normandy with amazing detail. A true goldmine of information. I’m sure you will enjoy browsing this site and if you can make a donation to them I’m sure it will be really appreciated. Superb work .

This is the movie that needs to be made … one of my favourite actors of the era and “its A Wonderful life” star , but also a man of true character . A true inspiration.
this looks excellent . some ww2 codebreaking for all the family with a good cause behind it … check it out at the link below.

firstly , a huge thankyou to our guide at this excellent local hidden Gem , George made history come to life and I and my son came away feeling like we really learned something valuable about both Andrew Jackson and the US Rangers .
We also learned some fascinating insights into local heritage and culture regarding Ulster Scots settlers and their contribution to many significant global events including the events that led to the formation of the United States of America and more , I am not of Ulster Scots Heritage myself but found this refreshing to learn in such a vibrant way , heres hoping we in NI can continue to learn about each others vibrant history in peace and cooperation , this is a great place to start . If you live in NI and havent visited this hidden Gem , I can highly recommend it . Thanks again George , Ethan loved it and cant wait to get back for another visit.
